Product Description:

The ACI/AIM1 optically isolates the analog input from the output produced. The output is a proportional, 1:1 ratio, to the input. Inputs of 0 to 5 volts, 0 to 10 volts, and 0 to 20 mA are accepted. A 24VAC external supply is required, an on-board 24VAC transformer supplies the isolated output. LEDs indicate power status for both supplies.

Isolation modules are used to separate instruments using separate ground planes, eliminating problems such as ground loops. The AIM1 isolates analog inputs up to 600VAC or 1500VDC. Selection of voltage or current input (sink or source) and voltage or current output is done on the board with jumpers.

The ACI/AIM2 is also available upon request. The AIM2 is a rescaleable isolation module. Both the input and the output may be rescaled on the AIM2. Please contact us for further information on the ACI/AIM2.
