The ACI/M4" and 8" thermowells are made of A.I.S.I. 300 series stainless steel to ensure long lasting reliability and stability. The wells are machined from solid bar stock using the most modern control machines. The bore is smooth, true, accurately centered, and precisely sized.
The thermowells are machined from one piece of stainless steel to avoid the weak point inherent in a weld. The well will be able to withstand rapid temperature changes without any degradation in its' mechanical structure. The precision bore gives excellent thermal conductivity from the well to the temperature sensor eliminating the need for thermal grease. All thermowells have external and internal threads at " N.P.T standards.
