ACI's ProteCT series current transformers provide a unique, low voltage output. These units have a meter grade accuracy making them ideal for sub metering applications. Current ranges from 0 to 1600 Amps are available. A 2-wire, 22 Gauge 8' twisted pair wire is supplied for connection to the PT series current transformer. The split-core design will protect the installer from shock hazards found on traditional ratio:5 CT's. The leads may be connected in any way since they aren't polarity sensitive. These units were designed for fast and easy installation. With the split-core design there does not need to be any disconnection of the wires, therefore it is much safer and easier to install. These units may be used with any of the 2012, 2013, 2112, 2113, or 2213 KW meters. All of the current transformers come with a 5 year unconditional warranty.
