Product Description:

The ACI/RH Series Relative Humidity transmitters convert a bulk polymer resistance change to a linear 4 to 20 mA output. The signal can be transmitted over long distances on unshielded twisted-pair wire, since the current signal is not affected by the lead wire resistance or electrical noise.

The bulk polymer design eliminates the effects of surface contamination, a problem for other types of sensors. This allows the sensor to maintain its accuracy over a long period of time. Matched diode temperature compensation maintains accuracy over the operating range. AC excitation eliminates sensor polarization. This contributes to the sensors longer life. Precision production tolerances maintain sensor interchangeability to within +/- 3% nominal without recalibration. Despite its accuracy, the bulk polymer sensor and related circuitry is economical. The additional benefits of this technology can be employed for less than many inferior types of sensors.

Each ACI/RH Series humidity transmitter is calibrated at 10 different points between 0 and 100% RH. Each point is calibrated to an NIST Traceable standard. This 10 point calibration allows the ACI/RH transmitters to be more accurate over the entire span, since they are calibrated at more points than the standard 1 or 3 point calibrations of most RH sensors.

All ACI relative humidity transmitters are able to be field calibrated using the ACI/RH-HC Hand Held Calibrator. This product makes it easy to perform quick, on-site adjustment of the transmitter without interrupting operation. This will eliminate the expense and inconvenience of sending your transmitters back to the factory. No tools or disassembly are required - just plug the Hand Held calibrator into the Phone Jack.

All ACI/RH Series transmitters come with a 2 year warranty.
