The ACI/TTU100 and ACI/TTU1000 are the transmitters of choice when the span calibration must be done in the field. The ACI/TTU100 is for use with a 100 ohm RTD input and the ACI/TTU1000 is for use with a 1000 Ohm RTD input. The transmitters produce a linear 4-20 mA output carried on a two-wire system. Optional voltage ranges (1-5 or 2-10 VDC) can also be ordered. The voltage input to the transmitter can vary from 7-35 VDC, can be unregulated, and is not polarity sensitive. The transmitter is linear from -50 to 392oF. The current output is unsusceptible to EMI and measurement resistances less than 800 Ohms. The transmitters are supplied uncalibrated from the factory. There is a zero and span potentiometer on the transmitter that can be adjusted to provide for any span within the sensors range. The low interaction between the zero and span make the task of field calibration quite simple. Additional options include current limiting and an AC power input.
The ACI transmitter is available in numerous configurations to satisfy all of the industry standards. The room transmitter is encased in an unobtrusive plastic enclosure and can be equipped with setpoint and override combinations. The transmitter can be ordered on a surface plate made of either stainless steel or aluminum. For measuring pipe temperature TT's can be offered with a strap. For air duct measurements the TT's are offered with 4, 8, 12, and 18" probes or as a remote probe configuration with 6' lead wires. There are also averaging configurations in both 12 and 24' lengths made of a soft, bendable copper tubing that can fit in any duct work. Lastly, the TT's can come as immersion with a 4 or 8" high quality stainless steel thermowell. All the duct and outside air configurations are available inside a weatherproof enclosure.
