H8163 Enhanced Data Stream Energy Meters

H8163 Series Enhanced Data Stream energy meters offer 26 points of information about power system performance, pulse output of kWh data and a phase-loss alarm.

The H8163 Energy Meters are easy to install, making them ideal for all submetering applications. To achieve system accuracy of 1%, from 2% to 100% of rated load, each meter is factory matched with quick-to-install split-core CTs and calibrated as a system.

The high-resolution backlit LCD display allows clear readings under any lighting conditions to reduce the risk of misinterpretation. The backlighting can be disabled if desired.

Optional communications information allow the meter to be connected to control system networks to report crucial power information at a much reduced installed cost.

H8163-CB Modbus Communications Card for the H8100 Series

The optional H8163-CB Modbus Communications Card transforms a stand-alone H8100 Series Energy Meter into a Modbus device.

Field installation of the H8163-CB is simple. It works with 2- and 4-wire Modbus networks. Just set the onboard switches for parity, baud rate and wiring, plug the card into the meter, power it up and check the status LEDs to verify connection.

All available Energy Meter data can be transmitted to the host system for recording and analysis.

H8186-CB BACnet-MS/TP Communications Card for H8100 Series Energy Meters

The optional H8186-CB Modbus Communications Card transforms a stand-alone H8100 Series Energy Meter into a BACnet device.

Field installation of the H8186-CB is simple. It works with 2- and 4-wire Modbus networks. Just set the onboard switches for parity, baud rate and wiring, plug the card into the meter, power it up and check the status LEDs to verify connection.
